Equinox Group Holdings Achieves SOC 2 Type 2 Attestation
We’re pleased to share an important milestone at Equinox Group Holdings. We have successfully achieved SOC 2 Type 2 compliance, with our report and attestation issued following an independent audit by Sensiba LLP.
For us, this is about more than meeting a security standard. As a managed services partner supporting businesses across Africa, the United States, and our other global markets, we understand the trust our clients place in us to handle their operations and data responsibly. SOC 2 Type 2 provides an independent assessment of the systems, controls, and processes we have put in place to help protect that trust across our global operations.
What is SOC 2 Type 2?
SOC 2 (System and Organization Controls 2) is a framework developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) for evaluating how organizations manage and protect information.
A SOC 2 Type 2 examination goes beyond looking at whether appropriate controls have been designed. An independent auditor evaluates whether those controls are operating effectively over a period of time.
That distinction matters. Rather than assessing our processes at a single point in time, the Type 2 examination provides assurance that our controls are not only documented but consistently followed and operating as intended.
What does this mean for our clients?
